An Ode to My Wife

If I could just turn back the time
To when I heard you say,
That I could be your shining prince
And all the dragons slay,
I'd build a castle on the hill
So all the world could see,
The lovely princess that I chose,
To live and die with me.

If I could just turn back the time
And start my life anew,
I'd plant some roses near the paths
That I have led you through:
There'd be no thorns to pierce your heart,
No tears to dim your eyes,
I'd leave no stones to bruise your feet,
there'd be no sad goodbyes.

But Father Time will not turn back
The hours that passed away.
I can't remove the thorns and rocks
From all those past gone days;
I cannot live my life again
But dragons I would slay,
If I could be your shining prince
For only one more day.

A Knight In Shining Armor

In this world full of hurt and pain,
I need someone who would help me through the rain.
To comfort me when Im sad,
Doing everything just to make me glad.

In this world I need a Brave Knight,
Who would never give up any fight.
A knight who would dry away my tears,
Telling me to overcome my fears.

A knight who loves me for who I am inside,
With him there's nothing more I need to hide.
A person who will still be standing strong,
Eventhough everything has gone wrong.

I need someone who is willing to give me more,
Someone I can call my Knight In Shining Armor.

Forever And Always

When I look into your eyes I see nothing but the loving tenderness and care that comes from you and only you.
When I kiss your lips I feel the love surge through my body and I never want it to go away.
When I hold your hand I sense a passion inside you that is made for me and only me.
When you hold me close, I close my eyes and wish that the moment would never end.
I know that all those things you do for me have a hidden meaning and I know that they are made just for me and only me.

Love used to be at the back of my mind.
Dead and lifeless like the sun with no shine.
Then you came along and showed me love is beautiful.
You brought me to life, so strong and spiritual.

The day that I saw you, my heart melted.
It was true love, because I felt it.

MARTIAL, the things that do attain

   The happy life be these, I find:--

The richesse left, not got with pain;

   The fruitful ground, the quiet mind;

The equal friend; no grudge, no strife;

   No charge of rule, nor governance;

   The household of continuance;

The mean diet, no delicate fare;

   True wisdom join'd with simpleness;

There are many thoughts and fantasies

Wandering in my head.

While I dream about you,

And when I am asleep in my bed,

I wish many things.

I wish with no fear

That right here beside me

You would be here.

In person every day

Just how much you love me.
